We really only did two things in Bolivia, but they were so incredible that Bolivia became our new favorite country. The landscape is so indescribable, everything is so vast and grand, and the base elevation is WAY too high. We tried to stay extremely remote, so we weren’t really exposed to the economic crisis.

Things we weren’t expecting:
It was really hard to find vegetables! Fruit was no problem, they had tons of it and tons of variety, but no veggies. The locals were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us good advice on things like finding gas.
Things we didn’t enjoy:
Obviously the fuel shortages sucked. Not knowing if, or when we could get gas again was stressful.
